Electronic Mouse

No, this is not about a usual electronic optical mouse you use as a computer input.

This is about an alive mouse which is controled by an electronic circuit. See the picture…Electronic Mouse

Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand has been researching on a neuron-electronic interface and released a video describing the projects current status on 27 Feb. 2008. (Watch the video)

According to the researchers, a robot with a biological brain is more effective than a robot controled by an electronic brain (Artificial Intelligence  – A.I). Because the instructions for common tasks are already usual for the biological brain and the interface only have to invoke them.

Wonder how the future will be…
